I am proud to announce our new app for new parents called Baby moments. I developed this app because I just became a Dad about 9 months ago and loved seeing the little precious moments my son had. The sad thing is they happen so fast and before you know it, your baby is grown and all you have is memories. Read More »

Brilliant, Crazy, Cocky: How the Top 1% of Entrepreneurs Profit from Global Chaos is the name of the book I just bought for my Kindle and it's first chapter which is titled ‘Nothing to Lose’ offers a very different perspective on entrepreneurship and the impact that it is exerting on eradicating poverty. Storytelling marks the opening of this non-fiction book. Lacy tells the tale of a Brazilian boy who grew up in poverty and crime ridden environment in Brazil and went on to create a successful computer business. This story is just the starting for Sarah Lacy has a number of lessons to teach in the first chapter itself. Read More »

That's the name of the newest App in the Emityme Apps family, Time Boss. It is an App that freelancers and contractors can use to track their hours and send invoices all from the iPhone. The idea for this app came from a personal need of mine to be able to send out time sheets and invoices every couple of weeks. Most of the work it repetitive though, and I thought there should be an app for that. Read More »

I am proud to notify you of the release of Emityme Apps' latest addition to the app store, My Daily Deal. The app is a daily deal aggregator that shows you only the deals you care about and nothing more. The daily deals space has been hot lately with Groupon expected to go public with an IPO this year. Touted as the world's fastest growing company, we have seen other players in the space like Living Social. Yesterday, Google bought Dealmap which is a similar mobile app that aggregates deals. This makes me angry we didn't launch earlier. We could have been the ones's being bought my Google :-).. anyway. The app is available on the App store. Please check it out and leave a review to give us feedback

NFC (Near field communication) is wireless technology that allows devices to send data between each other. That doesn't sound revolutionary, does it? The unique point about NFC is that is doesn't need any setup. Unlike your wireless laptops needing passwords and protocols to connect, devices using NFC basically set up their own hotspot on the fly, send what they need to send and that is it. Read More »
